The National Association of Buffalo Soldiers & Troopers Motorcycle Club (NABSTMC™)

Our colors represent a legacy of strength, pride, and sacrifice. We wear them with honor and deep respect, paying homage to the African American soldiers of the 9th and 10th Cavalry—known as the Buffalo Soldiers—who selflessly served and sacrificed so that our country could become what it is today. These colors are more than fabric; they are a badge of courage, sacrifice, and honor, reflecting both the legacy of those who came before us and those who continue to serve.

The National Association of Buffalo Soldiers & Troopers Motorcycle Club (NABSTMC™) is an organization of professional men and women dedicated to the sport of motorcycle riding and safety. We ride our motorcycles—our “Iron Horses”—as a modern tribute to the horses ridden by the Buffalo Soldiers of the 1800s.

Our mission is to educate the public about the racism, challenges, and sacrifices endured by the Buffalo Soldiers of the 9th and 10th U.S. Cavalry. Our vision is to inspire today’s youth by instilling this knowledge, encouraging them to become better citizens and future leaders. Through this effort, the legacy of the Buffalo Soldiers will live on and never be forgotten.

The NABSTMC™ was founded in October 1993 in Chicago, Illinois, by Kenneth “Dream Maker” Thomas, with the goal of promoting unity and fellowship among motorcyclists in the Chicago area. Since its founding, the organization has grown to include over 109 chapters nationwide.

We are proud to serve our communities through charitable efforts, including:

  • Feeding the homeless
  • Awarding scholarships to graduating high school seniors
  • Participating in events that support causes such as the Make-A-Wish Foundation

As Buffalo Soldiers, we ride not only for the love of the open road but also to preserve a powerful legacy, uplift our communities, and “do good in the ’hood.”
